Questions

Does Storeglow work with fastlane?

Yes. The export ZIP has fastlane's own folders: fastlane/screenshots for deliver and fastlane/metadata/android for supply. Copy the fastlane folder into your repository, merge it with an existing one, and run deliver and supply.

How are the files named?

deliver gets one folder per language, with the display size in each file name: fastlane/screenshots/en-US/01_iPhone69.png. supply gets one folder per device type: fastlane/metadata/android/en-US/images/phoneScreenshots/1.png, and the feature graphic is fastlane/metadata/android/en-US/images/featureGraphic.png. Both upload screens in file name order.

Can Storeglow import screenshots from fastlane snapshot?

Yes. Drop the fastlane/screenshots folder from snapshot, or metadata/android from screengrab, into the editor; it sorts the images into screens and languages. When you capture again, the new screenshots replace the old ones by file name, in every language.

Is Storeglow an alternative to frameit?

It does more than frame: frameit puts device frames around your screenshots and can add a title and background from a Framefile.json. Storeglow designs the whole screenshot, with 94 templates, 3D devices, the Google Play feature graphic and 39 languages, and writes them into the folders deliver and supply upload from.

What about Mac, Apple TV, Vision Pro and iPhone Duo?

deliver uploads one platform per run, so Mac, Vision Pro and Apple TV get folders of their own (screenshots-mac, screenshots-vision and screenshots-tv) and the README has the command for each, such as fastlane deliver --platform osx --screenshots_path fastlane/screenshots-mac --skip_metadata --skip_binary_upload --overwrite_screenshots. fastlane doesn't know the iPhone Duo (1398 × 2034) and iPhone Duo open (2007 × 2853) sizes yet, so the export puts them in a folder of their own to upload in App Store Connect.

Design the screenshots your lane uploads.
